Riel: Li père di Manitoba

Being of Métis heritage, I wanted to commemorate Louis Riel, the father of Manitoba. The depiction of the floral 'beadwork' on tanned deer hide is a replica of his buckskin jacket which is now on display at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Québec.
